US Airborne RTO, Vietnam.

The Radio Telephone Operator (RTO) is one of the more valuable members of the platoon. He keeps the communication between the troops and the headquarters and is therefore an important lifeline.






























This trooper belongs to the Army Special Forces aka the Green Berets as evidenced in his patch. Their intial ission in Vietnam were to train th South Vietnamese force, However as the war drag on they became more involved in the war.




























His team has just finished a Search and Destroy mission somewhere near the Vietnam-Laos border. Their aim was to disrupt the supply route of the VC forces in the area.
